Classroom Chatter
Thank you to everyone who sent in healthy treats for the class to have before the tests! We really appreciated it!!!
For those of you that met with me at conferences, it was a pleasure meeting with you to discuss your child's progress. Everyone please remember to always feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or great news!!!
Spelling: No spelling due to ISAT testing.
Reading: We will finish up our African American photo books that we put on hold. We will share them with the class too.
English
We will finish up adjectives and adverbs. There will be a test the following week (probably Wednesday 3/21) before we break for spring break.
Social Studies
We will continue with Chicago with the fire, rebuilding Chicago and the World's Fair. We will have our test on Part II of Chicago on Friday. The study guide came home today in social studies folder.
Science
We will finish up Space and test on it AFTER spring break. I don't want to have a lot of tests that last week before break. We will do plenty of reviewing when we return from break. :)
Math
We will take a mad minute in division 10s. We will finish up geometry in the next 2 weeks with a CYP on Monday 3/19 and the test Friday 3/23. Some of you asked about Geometry projects and when will they be assigned. Third grade team decided to not complete this "at home" project this year.
