Classroom Chatter
Thank you to Mariam, Maya, Stephan, and Lucas for bringing in some cool items for our treasure chest. Mrs. Csorba really appreciates it!!!
Parents! A note came home today (Friday) regarding ISAT healthy treats for the class. We are looking to give each student an extra healthy treat before we take each test. We have 6 tests over the course of the next 2 weeks. If you can send anything in for the class, it is greatly appreciated! Email me if any questions!

Spelling
No spelling this week. We will use the extra time for reading.
Reading
We will be taking Reading tests 1 and 2 this week. Test 2 will have an extended response the students will have to respond to. We will spend Tuesday preparing for our tests.
English
We will learn about adverbs this week.
Social Studies
We will learn about the great Chicago fire!
Science
We will study the solar system this week!
Math
We will take a mad minute in division 9 this week. We also will be taking the ISAT test in math. In addition to the ISAT tests, we will study quadrilaterals and polygons. Also, I wanted to "mention" that when we are done with our geometry unit, at some point we will have a "trimester" test covering chapter 4, 6, 7, and 10. It won't be for another couple of weeks, especially since we just started chapter 10 and ISAT's now. Just wanted to let you know. :)
